We are so excited about all that happened at this year’s vbs.  The kids had so much fun and learned a lot.  Life is a marathon, a precarious adventure.  We thoroughly enjoyed having fun with the kids as well as teaching them how they can not only make it through life’s marathon, but be a success while doing so!  It was great to see everyone at VBS 2016 “IT’S NOT A SPRINT, IT’S A MARATHON!”

We started with 60 young people on Monday the 11th and by Thursday the 14th, we had 70.  Although we did have number goals for this great week, our biggest goal was to impact the lives of the children for good.  This world is tough at best, and there are many pitfalls in the marathon of life, but here at Faith, we believe that with God, all things are possible.  During this week, we taught the young people principles that will carry them through and aid in making their personal race a long-term success instead of a short-term mediocre run.  “It’s not a sprint, it’s a marathon!”

There was a total of 29 young people who received Christ’s gift of Heaven at VBS this year.  You too can do this as explained by God’s simple plan of salvation!  This year’s VBS was a life changing time for these young people.  On Thursday, 12 of them obeyed God in getting baptized.  We look forward to working with these families and seeing these children grow up to be a success at what God has for them.
