If you were to die today do you know for sure that you would go to Heaven?

YOU CAN KNOW!

“These things have I written unto you that you may KNOW that you have eternal life…”
God has written, telling us how we can know.

I.  You must believe you are a sinner before God.
“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.”     Romans 3:10

II. You must believe that the penalty of your sin is death and hell
“For the wages of sin is death…”     Romans 6:23
“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”     Revelation 20:15

III. You must believe that Jesus died to pay this penalty and rose to give eternal life
“But God commendeth (showed) His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”     Romans 5:8

IV. You must trust and ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and save you from hell.
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”     Romans 10:13
“But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”     Romans 6:23

V. My friend, do it now, do it today
“Behold now is the accepted time, behold now is the day of salvation.”     II Cor. 6:2
